1. Author Certification

  • Verification & Accuracy: You have personally verified and fact-checked all AI-generated material—including text, data, diagrams, and imagery—to ensure accuracy and academic soundness.
  • Integrity & Originality: You have audited the submission to eliminate AI-induced hallucinations, misrepresentations, or the unauthorized inclusion of protected third-party works.
  • Accountability: As the human author, you remain solely responsible for the originality, accuracy, and ethical integrity of the entire work. AI cannot be listed as a co-author.

2. Disclosure Requirements

  • What to Disclose: Authors must identify the specific tool(s), version numbers, and the functional purpose of the AI (e.g., data synthesis, literature mapping, or drafting assistance).
  • Method of Disclosure: This must be provided in a “Declaration of AI Usage” statement located at the end of the manuscript, immediately preceding the references.
  • Note: Standard assistive tools for basic grammar, spelling, or reference formatting do not require formal disclosure.
